CAF offices closed on 30 June 2011 as part of the ongoing merger process with New Belfast Community Arts Initiative.
CAF's work included providing community arts with a strong voice, promoting dialogue and discussion within the sector. The merger of the new organisation will continue to have an advocacy remit.

The new Community Arts Partnership website is currently under development and will be launched in September 2011. Conferences and seminars
CAF organised an extensive programme of conferences and seminars to raise and discuss the issues most relevant to the sector.

CAF campaigns
Arts funding campaign 2007/2008 - CAF was a key part of the campaign to increase the arts budget for 2008-2011.
Review of Public Adminstration -CAF was involved in a sector wide consultation in relation to the Review of Public Administration.
Belfast's Cathedral Quarter -Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter has been identified as the city’s key cultural locality, The future of Cathedral Quarter was thrown in to doubt with the announcement that parts of the area are were to be redeveloped as part of a major retail scheme.
