CAF offers specific funding advice to groups and individual artists, providing advice on funding opportunities for community arts groups on an ongoing basis.

We also offer:

  • A comprehensive and searchable online funding information resource
  • Advice on completing funding applications, outlining what specific funders look for and how to present your organisation favourably and guidance on monitoring and evaluating a project.
  • Weekly forthcoming funding deadline reminders in our e-news service the Wee CAD
  • A monthly funding e-newsletter (the Wee CASH) with funding opportunities for the month ahead, funding news and fundraising training opportunities.

Additional funding information is also available through the CAF directory, which contains a comprehensive funding section, with more information on completing funding applications and funding opportunities for the arts.

CAF’s magazine, The Wee Can, also contains a funding section in every edition featuring news and up and coming deadlines.

Another key element of CAF's work is its lobbying local and national government for increased financial support for the community arts sector. See Campaigning for more information on CAF advocacy work.

If you know of any funding opportunities or have experience with particular funding bodies that you would like to share with the community arts sector contact Chris via: cball@caf.ie
