CAF provides a number of services to assist the development of the community arts sector, arts organisations and individual artists.

Helping individuals and communities get started
If you are an emerging artist, CAF can provide you with useful information on getting involved in the arts; career and training opportunities; securing funding; networking and business development. CAF can also provide information and support for emerging arts organisations on issues from getting constituted to evaluating projects.

CAF can help community organisations wishing to add an arts element to their programmes. CAF can prove advice and guidance on working with artists, securing funding and project planning.

CAF also plays a vital role in the development of the wider community arts sector by supporting and developing networks relevant to our area of work.

Seminars and conferences
Through our programme of seminars and conferences CAF explores ways that community arts projects can and have been used to tackle a wide range of issues such as sectarianism, unemployment, racism, social exclusion, suicide, homelessness, health awareness and the environment.
