A studio discussion as part of the Cultures and Conflict conference organised by Community Arts Forum in partnership with Banlieues d'Europe held in Belfast in November 2006.
Following on from the announcement of £3.5m arts programme to tackle visible signs of sectarianism and racism a panel comprising of Noirin McKinney, Arts Council of Northern Ireland; Deirdre Mackel, Upper Springfield Development Trust: Conor Shields, Programme Director, New Belfast Community Arts Initiative and Sally Young freelance artist and chaired by Dave Hyndman, Northern Visions, discuss the implications of the fund and set the records straight from the confusing picture that was given by the local media.
