LCCG Summer Festival - Avoniel Leisure Centre

This weekend the Lower Castlereagh Community Group are holding the ‘LCCG Summer Festival 2010’ taking place in the Avoniel Leisure Centre in East Belfast.

In conjunction with LCCG, the Human Rights Consortium will be running a day of human rights awareness raising on July 10th in the upstairs café area of the leisure centre.

There will be workshops for young people from 1pm – 2pm (under 12s), and 3pm – 4pm (teenagers).

LCCG will then hold an International Food Tasting session from 4pm – 6pm.

In the evening there will be a panel discussion with community activists and human rights groups on ‘Breaking Down the Barriers to Human Rights in East Belfast’ from 6pm – 7pm.
